Announcing The All-Electric 2024 Chevy Blazer EV
In July, Chevrolet unveiled the entirely electric 2024 Chevy Blazer EV, an expansion of Chevy’s EV portfolio and their first step into the growing mid-size electric crossover market. There are several 2024 Chevy Blazer EV trim levels that will be available, as well as multiple range options, including one that has a GM-estimated range of 320 miles. Chevy will even offer their first SS performance trim for an electric vehicle among the available packages.
The Trims and The Facts
The four trims available on the 2024 Chevy Blazer EV are the 1LT, 2LT, RS, and SS performance model. There is also a Police Pursuit Vehicle model that police fleets can utilize in their efforts to reduce emissions. The SS trim will make drivers forget they are in a crossover, as the AWD propulsion system can produce 557 horsepower and up to 648 lb-ft of torque, with a blazing 0-60 mph time of under 4 seconds.

According to GM estimates, the 2024 Chevy Blazer EV range will vary, from 247 miles in the 1LT to 320 miles in the RS. While all models will be compatible with public and home charging, the RS and SS trims will be able to use high-speed DC fast charging stations with a capacity of up to 190 KW. The other factors that separate the RS and SS from the LT models include the hands-free power liftgate, the heated and ventilated front seats, and the heated steering wheel.
The biggest difference between the 1LT and the 2LT is that the 2LT has a range of 293 miles, and is available in front wheel drive (FWD) and all wheel drive (AWD) while the 1LT is only available in FWD. Two incredible features found on the Blazer EV are Regen Braking, which converts kinetic energy into more battery power to extend range, and the available Super Cruise, an industry-first, true hands-free driver assistance technology.
